Philosophy & Goals of Almeida Foundation

Almeida

It is the goal of the foundation to help others in need financial help to get educated in the field of Health Care.

Almeida Foundation is currently assisting these causes:

  1. Two (2) Nursing Students now in the 4th year and will be graduating in the year 2010. They have been financially assisted for 4 years. These students  maintain above average grades and are being assisted not only for their school fees but also uniforms, books, food allowance and others so that they are not neglected. They also make daily reports on their progress as a way of improving their communication skills.
  2. Eighteen (18) poor farmers being assisted by providing them with cows under their personal care that can give birth which they can then sell and keep the proceeds for themselves. This has given hope for them of being able to save some monies for their personal needs.
Other Projects:

  1. Built three (3) classrooms in a bario, for elementary students. The community was involved in the actual construction making them fully appreciative of the building that is being used by their own children.
  2. Repaired one (1) classroom for High School Students because the floors were falling apart, and in need of overall repair. The whole room was refurbished and this was successful so much so, that they have requested others to do some more rooms. Donated monies for the purchase some needed computers.
  3. Donated monies for the purchase some needed computers.
